The Rooms

The six pub rooms radiate individuality and character. Lopsided floors, slanted door frames and chocolate box windows create cosy nests with inviting charm. Perfectly encapsulating the total pub feel they do err on the small side, with baths only and absorbing the pub noise from below. If you’re sensitive opt for a peaceful courtyard room with more elegant decor, space abound and baths with showers.

The Rest

Dating back to the 16th Century cider house roots, The Kings Head Inn is the epitome of cosy as open fires welcome you in the winter and the gloriously picturesque village green awaits in summer. The heart of the pub is the crooked bar stool lined counter serving up local ales in the centre of the pub’s old section (more character-ful than the new more modern annex) complete with church pew seating and a giant fireplace; just the spot for delightful pub grub.

The Cost

Rooms above the pub come in at between £95 and £105 a night and the pricier ones come with more space to dawdle around in. For more of a hotel feel opt for the Courtyard rooms which come in between £115 and £135 per night.

By Car

There is so much to do in the area that we recommend you take your car. Bledington isn't far from the M4 and easily accessible by a combination of A roads and country lanes. Just put OX7 6XQ into your sat nav or look for Bledington in the Road Atlas. There is plenty of parking around the back for guests.
 

By Train

The closest train station is Kingham which is on the mainline out of London. Kingham is about a 4 minute drive from the Kings Head Inn.
