The Rooms

Bespoke accommodation rife with personal touches captivates you with its charm. The converted barn’s six rooms are magazine cover ready with authentic touches such as exposed beams complimented by feature armchairs, dimpled headboards and subtle hues evocative of stylish country living.  The ground floor stable rooms have pretty views but showers only. We love the Orchard Store’s charming French bedside tables and The Piggery’s loft position and roll top bath.

The Rest

The Swan is rich with history which shines through in its unique and charming style accented by historic photos and trinkets. With log fires, flagstone floors, dogs curled up at their owner’s feet, the Swan takes its role as a pub seriously. The ales are award winning and the food all locally sourced. Dine in the higgledy pub rooms, light conservatory or riverside al fresco seating.

The Cost

The two Stable rooms come in at £120 per night but the Piggery End, Orchard Store and The Forge are all £140. Debo's Room is a pricier £180 per night but can sleep 3-4 thus absorbing the price rise...

Directions to The Swan Inn

By Car: There is so much to do in the area, we recommend you take your car. Swinbrook is only 2 miles east of Burford along the valley road and 1 mile from the A40. It is also: 19 miles from Oxford, 24 miles from Cheltenham, 72 miles from London, 80 miles from Birmingham.

By train: The closest train station is Shipton which is an hour and a half out of London with a change in Oxford. We recommend you book a cab in advance to pick you up from the station and take you to the pub.
