With only 5 bedrooms, all spaciously showcasing owner Robin’s innate sense of style, Ardmor House creates an utterly personal experience. Slicker than your average, all rooms come with flat screen TVs and ipod docks and invitingly crisp white bed linen. Carefully planned details such as feature headboards heighten the wonderful style although it’s worth noting that the ground floor single is the smallest room (still plenty of space for one).
This lovingly decorated boutique B&B in the centre of Edinburgh has a warmth and charm heightened by resident dog Vera. Breakfast is taken in the sumptuously decorated dining room and is quintessentially Scottish. Located in the quiet area of Pilrig Park, only 15 minutes walk from Princes Street. Perfect for busy days and then retreating to your own secluded sleep spot.
Prices vary according to time of year so enquire directly to find out accurate pricing. However, rates start from £85 per night and go up to a maximum of £170 for Kingsize doubles or twins.

By Car (or on foot)
Find Princes Street on the map. The A1 and A68 terminate at the east end of Princes Street. From the A1 you make a right turn from Waterloo Place on to the A900 (Leith). From the A68 you veer right from South Bridge on to the A900. In both cases, carry on down Leith Street until you reach a roundabout. Carry straight over (the Playhouse Theatre will be on your right) until you reach a second roundabout. Again carry straight over, heading downhill on Leith Walk. Pilrig Street is the third main street on the left (look for the church on the corner). Ardmor House is on the left hand side opposite the park.
