The Rooms

To gain affordable access to such a 5 star establishment, luxury comes in the shape of a “Wee Classic” room but fear not, it still comes with Egyptian cotton linen, generous beds, high tech equipment and gorgeous and inviting decor. The only thing the Wee Classics lack is a bit of extra space compared to deluxe rooms and suites but we promise you won’t be feeling hard done by.

The Rest

Deep shades of grey and black with the occasional insert of colour and tweed wrap you up in a world of Scottish warmth and hospitality. Original features such as art deco panelling and marble fireplaces are seamlessly integrated into the sympathetically renovated Georgian building alongside breathtaking modern interior design touches. With a fully kitted out spa and various decadent eating and drinking options, Blythswood Square serves up a dose of extravagant splendour.

Prices vary according to date and availability so check the online booking calendar on their website. Most of the year Wee Classic and Classic rooms come in comfortably under our price promise but you'll have to splash out to go for something grander.

Directions to Blythswood Square

By Train

Glasgow has two railway stations: Central and Queen Street. Central Station is the main station, situated on Gordon Street - half a mile away and is approximately 3 minutes by taxi to the hotel. Queen Street Station is located next to George Square and is also 3 minutes by taxi.

By Bus

Buchanan Bus Station is located on Killermont Street, just over half a mile from the hotel in the city centre and 3 minutes by taxi to the hotel or roughly, a 15 minute walk.

By Car from West/Airport

Travelling West on M8 towards Glasgow take Junction 19 toward Clydebank/A198/Anderston and keep right at the fork to continue toward Pitt Street. Turn left at Pitt Street and then right at West George Street. Take the 2nd left onto Blythswood Square, and the hotel is on the right hand side of the square.

From East

Travelling East on M8 towards Glasgow, take Junction 18 on the right onto A804. Slight left onto Sauchiehall Street and take your 3rd right onto Pitt Street. Take your 4th left onto West Regent Street and follow onto Blythswood Square, and the city centre hotel is facing you.
