Brighton’s only five star rated boutique hotel is in beautiful listed building in the heart of hip Kemp Town. An excellent breakfast is served up every morning. Providing you with cooked and continental options as well as adorable jars of compote and homemade smoothies. Treat yourself to a night cap from the in room bottle of port and munch on various complimentary nibbles.
Tiny Doubles are £95 per night Sun-Friday and £115 on Saturdays. Cosy Doubles cost a little more coming in at £125 midweek and £145 on Saturday nights. Comfy Kings fall into our price promise Sun-Fri at £145 a night but are over our cap on Saturdays. Unfortunately, Grand Kings and Four Poster rooms always inch too close to the £200 mark for our price promise. Check out the live booking availability though as rooms often come in at under the rack rate.
Directions to Kemp Townhouse
From Brighton station, walk down the hill towards the sea front and turn left (east). After a few minutes you will see Brighton Pier. Head towards it, and once there walk up towards the marina along Marine Parade. You will find Atlingworth Street just off to the left. It’s about a 25-minute walk. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy the walk, a taxi from Brighton station will cost around £7.
Follow the M23/A23 towards the Brighton seafront. Keep going until you see Brighton Pier in front of you. Turn left at the roundabout towards Brighton Marina and Atlingworth Street is about 500 metres on your left, three roads past New Steine (small square). Atlingworth Street is a one-way street facing south, so you should turn left off the Seafront onto Lower Rock Gardens (two roadspast New Steine), then right onto St James’s Street and immediately right again onto Atlingworth Street.
Parking: As with all areas of central Brighton, parking is very limited. They can offer visitors parking vouchers for Atlingworth Street and the surrounding streets, although there is no guarantee of available street parking. Vouchers are £8 per 24 hours. Alternatively, metered street parking can also be found in surrounding streets, with the same limitations on availability. There is also an NCP car park just five minutes’ walk from Kemp Townhouse in the High Street (see map).
By Coach to Brighton
You arrive at Pool Valley Coach Station, which is close to Brighton pier and only a 10-minute walk to boutique hotel Kemp Townhouse. If you are travelling by bus during busy periods, we recommend booking your tickets in advance, as seats can fill up.
Gatwick Airport is the closest airport to Brighton (about 40 minutes away by car and 25 minutes away by train). Heathrow is 70 minutes away by car or 90 minutes by National Express.
