The Rooms
With sea views, indulgent breakfasts and welcoming hosts plus frequent 3 for 2 midweek offers, The White House gleams but not just from its colour. Our favourite room is The Suite with private lounge and balcony. More frugally, Room One may be on the ground floor but is filled with French nuances and a divine little South facing patio. Small doubles are cosy, comfortable but infused with style at a price that leaves you plenty of spending money for shopping.
The Rest
Brighton is simply awash with B&Bs but there is something about The White House deserving of its grand name. Run by husband and wife team they aspire to create the feel of an intimate hotel within their shining white walls. A little courtyard garden out the back and sea views help The White House gleam even brighter. Munch on the chef made breakfast in the courtyard garden if you can.
The Cost
Room prices vary depending on time of year and start from as low as £85 a night for a double room. Most rooms fall under our price promise for most of the year although Rooms one, five, eight and the suite may occasionally fall above it at peak times.
